I have known Katie for some time now. My wife and I own The Sparrow Store, which is located just under her suite. Katie and I have chatted many times over the past 7 years and discussed many subjects, including her travels around the world where she studies her craft and learns new things. Many people wander into our store after a session with Katie, melt into a puddle, and say things like "She is so wonderful!," "Katie is the best!"

A few weeks ago I took a fall and had some residual aches and thought - this is my chance to see what's so great about Katie up there.

So, first, she listened. We sat down in her lovely sitting area, music to relax by, a soft scent of something in the air, and she listened to what I had to say. After a time we agreed on a mix of reiki and massage.

And then she went to it. Working out tightness. Pressure points, ooh. My shoulders, my feet, (then I think I feel asleep for a bit), up to my neck, the back of my head. Wow! First time in 3 weeks I could move my head side to side.

Fabulous hands -- purposeful, healing. Hot towels. Feeling very, very good. Walk out into the sunshine. It's a beautiful day!!

Being a physician and having had regular massages for the past 20 years, I know an excellent therapist when I visit one. I have had the pleasure of having had those fantastic treatments over the last couple of years with Katie. Katie uses not just traditional massage techniques, but Reiki and 'massage cups' as needed to fit your particular area of your body that is of concern to you. 

As a golfer my thigh muscles ache and are usually too deep and hard for most therapists. But Katie was able to get deep in to those quads and hamstrings, and was able to resolve my aches. I came out feeling totally relaxed and rejuvenated. Her techniques were so impressive, I bought myself a set of massage cups for self care.

Best. Massage. Ever.

Kate is gifted, with strong hands and a warm heart. She worked my numerous knots to the nub, but just shy of too much. Love her integrated approach using all the expertise she's amassed: deep tissue, reflexology, craniofacial sacral, reiki and more. Let her do her thing and you will. Feel. Better! I indulged in 90 minutes and will be back for more. It is, and you are, so worth it!!

"I first started seeing Katie for Reiki after being diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.  I had no idea what to expect, but I was anxious and had heard cancer patients benefited from Reiki.  This is an understatement.  After an hour of Reiki therapy with Katie, I am SO relaxed.  I received Reiki from Katie two days before my surgery.  During my surgery, Katie also did something called, "distant healing."  Of course I will never know how I would have done without Reiki, but I had zero pain after my surgery, or during any of the days after my surgery.  I was sent home from the hospital with arsenal of pain killers, but none were needed.  My doctors were amazed.  I continued to see Katie prior to chemotherapy, and while chemo was certainly unpleasant, I did not experience any nausea.  In fact, I made it through with significantly less side effects than many of the people I know who had had the same treatment.  I also found Reiki enhanced my ability to sleep and relax.  Not only is Katie an amazing Reiki Master, but when you step into her studio space it feels very tranquil and delightful.  Anybody lucky enough to find Katie is blessed.  I recommend her without reservation".
