Kate Gardner has been a licensed massage therapist and Reiki Master since 2001. She is exclusively and highly trained; and has a reputation as one of the best and powerful healers in her field.

In 1998, she discovered massage therapy was her calling after suffering whiplash from an auto accident. Although she underwent numerous chiropractic and physical therapies, a severe, inhibiting pain in her neck and upper back remained following these treatments. A professional photographer at the time, Kate handled a lot of heavy equipment shooting on movie sets, and work became uncomfortable due to the lingering pain following her accident. It was not until she sought treatment from a masseuse that the intense discomfort began to subside. After several massage sessions, Kate was finally able to recover fully from the pain of her accident.

This discovery of the incredible healing effects of massage therapy prompted her to enroll in massage school. Now, after years of training and experience, she finds each session to be more rewarding than the last. Her physical strength and advanced understanding of anatomy, physiology and body mechanics make her bodywork incomparable to that of others in her field. Her clients often end their treatments in tears of joy, experiencing the feeling of finally being pain- free after long-term suffering. It is the same sensation which Kate felt back in 1998. It is the reason that massage has become her passion.

Kate has been trained by some of the best and most renowned instructors globally in their fields, allowing her to provide the best treatment possible for her clients every session. She is the fourth lineage Reiki Master who was trained by John Harvey Gray, the oldest and longest living Reiki Master in the U.S.; he was trained by Reiki Master Mrs. Hawayo Takata. The practice of Reiki was originated around 100 years ago by Dr. Mikao Usui of Japan.

In 2014, Kate journeyed to Abadania, a small village of Brazil, to meet a TransMedium healer named Juao de Deus (John of God) who performed miraculous healing. She was granted special permission to bring back a Crystal Bed to the U.S., which provides clients with a potent form of energy healing through alignment of the chakras and deep restorative relaxation.

Kate spent three winters in Chiang Mai, Thailand, doing extensive one on one training with the Masters and received her certification in Basic and Advance Levels 1&2 Traditional Thai Massage.  Her studies also included learning Chi Nei Tsang (Abdominal Detox Massage) and Thai Reflexology which she integrates into her “customized” massages.

In each session, Kate integrates both western and eastern modalities, creating a harmonious balance to optimize healing. She provides her clients with valuable information on self-performed bodywork techniques and stretches to extend healing after the conclusion of their session. She is a truly attentive practitioner, who learns not only from her instructors, Masters, Entities and John of God, but particularly by listening to her clients. It is not simply her continued education and skills that make Kate the renowned massage therapist and Reiki Master she is, but her heightened intuition and care for those seeking treatment by her.
